 Traverse City Blood DriveDATE: Friday August 5, 2010 Blood shortages are a real problem in our community and our state. The blood banks stress: the RAREST blood type is the one they are in the shortest supply of. This is a simple way to give back to your community and it only costs you a small amount of time. For more information on the importance of donating please visit the Michigan Blood website. Compassionate Care Home Health Services, Inc. will be giving away goodie bags in appreciation to those who donate their blood for this worthy cause. All donors will be entered into Michigan Blood's monthly grand prize drawing for a chance to win a Grand Hotel Weekend and the weekly drawing of a family 4-pack of tickets to the Sept. 12 Detroit Tigers baseball game.
