Compassionate Care is excited to announce a very important event. On Veteran's Day, November 11, we will be kicking off a Food Drive to honor those who have fought for our freedom and country. If you know a veteran you want to honor, make a donation in their name.

With the holidays fast approaching and the economy in such a fragile state, we decided that we would do our part in trying to make the rough times better for those in need. On November 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., Compassionate Care will kickoff a week long food collection effort at our Saginaw location. Compassionate Care is excited to have 94.5 the Moose join us for a remote broadcast from our office!

Stop by the Saginaw office between 11:00 and 1:00 to make your donation. All who donate will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 VISA gift card. Hot dogs, chips and cake will be available to all who stop in.

If you're not in the Saginaw area on November 11 between 11:00 and 1:00, you can still do your part to honor a veteran. All six Compassionate Care locations will be accepting donations until 5:00 p.m. on November 18, 2009.

Compassionate Care is honored to be able to host this event in support of our veterans. For nearly 12 years, we have been caring for individuals who long to remain home. Many of those individuals served in the armed forces. We have had the extreme honor of providing care for World War II, Vietnam and Korean War Veterans as well as esteemed Purple Heart recipients. No matter what branch of service one serves in, we are humbled by the sacrifices these men and women have made.

All donations will benefit local Salvation Army organizations.
