Senior Transportation

When it’s no longer safe for an older adult to drive because of limited mobility, health conditions, or cognitive impairment, it doesn’t mean they have to give up on getting out! We’re pleased to provide senior transportation services in conjunction with our other full range of home care and home health services.

Staying active and engaged in enjoyable and meaningful pastimes is crucial to our health and wellbeing. We help anyone who is a client of Compassionate Care Home Health to go whenever and wherever they wish, such as:

• Doctor appointments
• Medical procedures and tests
• Hair and beauty salons
• Lunch dates with friends
• Shopping and other errands
• Exercise programs
• Trips to museums, parks, the library, or other areas of interest
• Classes
• Volunteer opportunities
• Family functions
• And much more!

Our caregiving companions are all background checked and have clean driving records, for your peace of mind. A caregiver can provide accompaniment as well as transportation as requested. We will ensure the individual gets safely into and out of the car, provide support with walking or with a wheelchair throughout the outing as needed, and help them get settled back at home after.
